SPN configuration is not necessary if you are logging in as a Laserfiche trustee. See Configuring SPN for more information. INSTALL WEBDAV REDIRECTOR SERVER 2012 WINDOWSNote: If your Laserfiche Server is not running as either local system or a domain administrator, you will need to perform additional configuration to allow users to log in as Windows domain accounts. Note that you may be prompted to log in more than once this is normal. INSTALL WEBDAV REDIRECTOR SERVER 2012 PASSWORDProvide either a Laserfiche user name and password, or a Windows or LDAP domain account and password that has been granted Trusted access to the Laserfiche repository. You will be prompted to log in to your repository. Where ServerName is the fully-qualified domain name of your Laserfiche server. In the Folder option, type the following:.(Drives that are in use will be followed by the location that is already mapped for that drive.) In the Drive option, select a drive letter that is not currently in use. The Map Network Drive dialog will open.Open the Tools menu and select Map Network Drive.Open Windows Explorer, either by opening any folder in Windows, or by launching the Start menu and selecting Programs and then Accessories.To add the Laserfiche repository as a network place If you want to try this, see Enabling and Configuring Web Folders. For certain configurations, you may find that using WebDAV as Web Folders rather than as a mapped network drive resolves those problems. In some situations, WebDAV may encounter configuration problems. Once it has been enabled, you can browse to it in any application that supports mapped network drives. For instance, you could navigate your repository by opening Windows Explorer and selecting the mapped drive, or you could save a document to Laserfiche by navigating to the mapped drive in the Save dialog of the native application. Once WebDAV has been enabled, you will need to map your Laserfiche repository to a drive to enable access to it through Windows Explorer and other applications. Note: For some configurations, you may need to ensure that the Windows domain user that the Laserfiche Server is logging in as has had Kerberos enabled. Name the value "ListenRootURL" and give it a value of "1".From the Edit menu, point to New and select DWORD.Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Laserfiche\Engine\8.0\HTTPServ.Open the registry editor on the Server computer.This is the default port setting for these operating systems, but if you have changed to a different port while using your repository, you will need to change back to 80 to use Web Folders. Make sure the listening port is set to 80.See the Server Settings section for more information.
